The Equipment & Décor Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all of the approved equipment and décor items that are made available to Barrington Tea Express Kiosks and Cafes and meet the standards and specifications that have been established, ensure that equipment and décor items are properly priced, arrive at cafes in a timely basis and in good condition and the suppliers and vendors offer service and warranty coverage locally and regionally.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Liaise between headquarters and vendors of current approved equipment and décor items. Oversee inventory control, maintain pricing and quality.
Manage the Equipment & Décor team, which is responsible for maintaining the equipment ordering lists, the signage program, the remodel policy and the existing equipment policy.
Oversee equipment projects as they arise. Write project charters, timelines and project plans for equipment tests. Work with suppliers, IPC and other internal departments to initiate, test and finalize equipment tests.
Communicate all aspects of equipment to regional development agents, field consultants, franchise owners and all other interested parties, including best practices, preventive maintenance, warranty and pricing.
Provide training to all stakeholders on preventive maintenance and proper operation of approved equipment.

The successful candidate will have:
6+ years relevant equipment and QSR management experience.
Position will require successful completion of Franchisee training at Barrington Tea Express
Experience necessary for effective job performance:
Ability to read and understand manufacturers technical specifications.
General equipment engineering experience and knowledge.
Servsafe, NSF and UL knowledge and understanding.
Highly organized and able to follow programs from start to finish.
Familiarity of Microsoft Office programs and Power Point.
Prior Barrington Tea Express restaurant work experience a plus.
