The Training Manager position will be responsible for providing training for new franchisees and their staff and provide leadership and direction to the Training Department and its staff. Direct the development and execution of all training programs both online and in the classroom while always seeking continuous improvement in content, format and delivery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bring learning, training and professional development to all learners whether in the classroom, conferencing center, online, in the field or other forums such as international and domestic conferences and conventions. Direct domestic and international instructional and administrative teams to maximize effectiveness and elevate skill levels of all staff members. Support guest speakers in the classroom, on company conferencing center and online.
Provide excellent customer service to students, regional development staff, restaurant owners and employees, the Worldwide Training staff, headquarters employees and others requesting training information or services.
Direct the planning, development and continuous improvement of curriculum for all training programs. Ensure that all training is current, educationally sound and that it addresses the needs of the audience. Ensure that the quality review process is in place to evaluate course content and presenter facilitation skills. Monitor industry trends in training content and delivery tools. Enforce training policies and procedures. Lead professional development program for company management and employees.
Implement and refine online training courses, including vendor management, determination of recommended curriculum plans for management courses, creation of custom content and marketing. Ensure the merchandising of online courses to various internal and external target audiences through frequent communications and feature reports. Online delivery needs to be focused on engaging with the intended audience.

The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in training or related field.
Prior adult training and team management/supervision experience in a global corporation.
Experience necessary for effective job performance:
Franchising and international business experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
